Cerro Plata

Placed at frontal aera from Cordillera de los Andes. It’s one of the more than 6000 mts. hight and it's just to 80 km. from Mendoza City. Frequently it’s climbing by local mountaineering. This place is very usefull to become acclimatized and first step to Aconcagua climbing. From de summit it’s possible to see a hole part of the mountain chain and from arriving it shows the mountain characteristic.

Day 1 MENDOZA: Welcome. We’ll receive you at Francisco Gabrielli Airport or at the bus-station, and then we’ll take you to the hotel. Lodging. Later, we’ll check the general and personal equipment. Afterwards, the Welcome Dinner in a typical Argentinean restaurant

Day 2 MENDOZA / VALLECITOS / CAMPO 1: . Breakfast. Transfer to Vallecitos. Climbing to camp 1 (Piedra Grande) Where we’ll camp. Dinner.

Day 3 CAMPO 1 / CAMPO 2 : Breakfast. Climbing to camp 2 (El Salto).

Day 4 CAMPO 2: Desayuno. Trekking de aclimatación. Descanso de aclimatación en campo 2.

Day 5 CAMPO 2: Breakfast. Trekking to become acclimatized, after that rest at camp 2.

Day 6 CAMPO 2 / CUMBRE / CAMPO 2: Breakfast. Climbing to the summit. After that we’ll come back to camp 2.

NOTE: Two extra days are considered in case of climatic changes.
