Plaza Francia - Plaza de Mulas

Day 1 MENDOZA: Welcome. We’ll receive you at Francisco Gabrielli Airport or at the bus-station, and then we’ll take you to your hotel. Transfer to the Natural Resource Office to get the Trekking Permission (this will be the responsibility of each trekker). Later, we’ll check your personal equipment. Afterwards we will have a welcome Dinner in a typical Argentinean restaurant.

Day 2 PENITENTES / CONFLUENCIA: After breakfast we’ll go to the Laguna de Horcones, where we'll check in with the Park Ranger Station and we’ll have our first sight of the breathtaking ACONCAGUA. We will continue slowly until Confluencia (3.200 mts.), where we’ll camp. Dinner.

Day 3 CONFLUENCIA / PLAZA FRANCIA / CONFLUENCIA: Breakfast. Trekking to the wiew of South Face (4.300 mts.) and return to Confluencia. Dinner.

Day 4 CONFLUENCIA / PLAZA DE MULAS:Breakfast and after leaving the camp, we’ll hike to Plaza de Mulas (4.400 mts.). Lodging. Dinner.

Day 5 PLAZA DE MULAS: Breakfast. Trekking around Plaza de Mulas. Lunch. During the afternoon we’ll go to low Plaza de Mulas. Dinner.

Day 6 PLAZA DE MULAS / PENITENTES: Breakfast. Return to Puente del Inca. Transfer to PENITENTES. Lodging. Farewell dinner.

Day 7 PENITENTES / MENDOZA: Alter breakfast, come back to Mendoza. Transfer to the Airport or bus-station. Until the next challenge.
